Banc Café, a Manhattan bar and restaurant lounge, is inspired by images of old Parisian establishments, bohemian furnishings and unique decorative elements compliment the architectural details which are reminiscent of a turn of the century interior. Dominant ceilings of ornamental beams, corbels and vaulted arches are supported by exterior walls of stained glass. Fragments of complimentary colored glass are embedded in the custom concrete bar countertop which is adorned by imparted Italian beer towers. The European influence is evident throughout with a distressed herring bone floor accented with classic black and white marble tile. All design elements, such as lighting selections, textured plaster walls and copper tabletops are intended to evoke the term "artisan" in this truly rich establishment.
