Welcome to the Village Pourhouse. It’s a tavern, it’s a lounge, it’s private, and it’s a loud, boisterous sports bar…got that? Located right across the street from a movie theater, the Pourhouse helps drown the sorrows of moviegoers who just paid $11 for a Vin Diesel movie. The front room has an antique New York ale house vibe, followed by “The Dugout,” where three high-definition TVs and a hook-up for private kegs mean it’s “batter up” for sports fans. What happens in the VIP-lite “Vegas Room” stays there, but sadly the “Red Light Room” isn’t as salacious as its name might imply. A place called the Pourhouse is clearly all about the drink specials, so give your credit card a rest and enjoy a $1.95 Natty Light served in a brown paper bag on White Trash Mondays. It’ll help wash down your 25-cent wings.
